Reverse Monte Carlo and ion physics developments

ESA has kicked-off on 1st July 2008 a project aimed at further developments of the Adjoint Monte Carlo technique in the Geant4 toolkit. The work will also include improvements of the Geant4 ion physics models by the implementation of state-of-the-art stopping power tables. The output of these developments will be made available for rapid radiation analysis of space systems in engineering analysis tools.
The contract has been awarded to QinetiQ (UK) with SpaceIT (CH) and TRAD (F) as subcontractors.
